What is the Student Visa (Subclass 500)?

The Student Visa (Subclass 500) allows international students to study full-time at a registered Australian institution. It covers primary, secondary, higher education, vocational education and training (VET), and English language courses.

This is the most common visa for international students and provides work rights during your study period, allowing you to gain valuable Australian work experience.
